Dashboard, Cards & Grid
Three ways to read the same registered system. Choose the view that fits your screen and the level of detail you need.
Choose a view
Use the View selector on My Devices. The app remembers your choice on that installation.
- Dashboard
- The visual bank overview: a charge ring, net current, voltage, available/full capacity, time estimate, individual battery levels, and current-flow rows for linked equipment.
- Cards
- Bank summaries and device/battery cards for browsing individual readings.
- Grid
- A compact table for comparing equipment and battery readings across the system.
A view change does not change equipment settings or bank membership. All views use the registered equipment and available readings; unsupported fields are not invented.
House Bank
- Bank voltage
- 13.3 V
- Available now
- 328 Ah
- Full bank
- 400 Ah
- To 100%
- 3h 52m
This example shows four 100 Ah batteries in one 12 V house bank, with a SmartShunt and Victron MPPT linked to it. The dark interface illustrates Dashboard; the figures are sample data.
Build the bank shown above
- Scan and register each of the four batteries, the shunt, and the MPPT.
- Open Manage Banks, create House Bank, and assign the four batteries.
- Link the shunt and MPPT to House Bank under energy-device links.
- Return to My Devices and select Dashboard.
Bank current is calculated from the available battery readings. The linked shunt is an independent whole-bank reference; its current is not added again to the battery total. The controller's charging output can be higher than net bank current when loads are using some of the solar output.
Capacity and time estimates depend on available live data. Discharge time targets the app's 40% reserve reference; charge time targets 100%. See Battery Banks for the calculation limits.
Open a device for more detail
Tap a battery or connected device. Battery details can show voltage, current, capacity, cell voltages/spread, temperatures, cycle count, and protection/MOS status when the BMS supplies them. These indicators report equipment state; they are not controls.
Supporting-device detail pages can show Observed history with 24h, 7d, and 30d ranges. VoltSyncra records a live sample about every five minutes while the device is monitored. Gaps are expected while the app is closed or the device is offline; history needs time to build and stays local to the installation.
Observed app history is different from history retained by a device itself. Which fields and device-retained values appear depends on the model, firmware, and protocol. Not every device supports every field.
Read connection state before relying on a value
Live means a usable reading was received. Offline or unavailable equipment may leave gaps in the bank summary. Use Retry, Refresh All, or technical Details when shown; check a reading against the manufacturer's app if it looks wrong.
